The alternating current xrays produces low energy beam of photons as compare to DC Xray , which are readily absorbes by pateint body. so the low beam photon produced in high quantity by DC , which are rarely absorbed by pateints body. DCs produce smooth and constant xrays which are accurate as compare to traditional ones.

Since 1900 Xrays are in picture. But to do traditional xrays we have to wear lead aprons , headcaps , it required a seorate room with lead infused walls . AUTOCLAVE
AUTOCLAVE is an machinery used for sterlizing the instruments and tools. Autoclave works on concept of steam sterlization under pressure which is much better then earlier boilng water cleaning .
Instruments are placed inside an Autoclave, lid is closed, and steams produces inside which cleans the instruments from all kind of microorganisms . Medical autoclaves generally reaches a temprature of 121-140ºC ( 250-284ºF) for atleast 3 minute but upto 15 minutes.
ELECTRONIC APEX LOCATOR
For sucess of root canal treatment complet disinfection of canals is necessary .This can be possible if accurate length of canal is diagnosed & Apex locator helps in finding this . Traditionally radiographs help in determining the point of termination for endodontic instrumentation and obturation . apex locators has helped make the assessment of working length more accurate and precise.
